Catchment and Satellite Data Analysis
We can use topography from LIDAR, available datasets or remote sensing methods to help you understand your catchment. We can even retrieve useful data for remote catchments in undeveloped parts of the world. This could include the soils in the catchment using the ISRIC Soil Grids data, the landuses observed using the ESA GlobCover archive, the meteorological conditions using various datasets including the NASA Global Precipitation Measurement mission, or the topography using the NASA ASTER GDEM. |
Data Handling Tasks
You may know what data you would like to use, and even have a copy of it - but sometimes it is hard to know where to start when disaggregating your available engineering data, especially for sets of data that are multidimensional (e.g. a timeseries of 3D data). Some data is so large that traditional approaches like Excel and even GIS simply aren't an option for your analysis. We can help you make your data handling manageable by developing bespoke Python scripts to interrogate and organise very large quantities of files and data. |
